How to Take a Long Screenshot on iPhone 16 (Scrolling Screenshot)
Have you ever wanted to take a screenshot of a long webpage or conversation, but you had to take multiple screenshots? Well, with iPhone 16, you don't have to anymore! You can take a long scrolling screenshot that captures the entire page. I use this feature all the time to save recipes and articles.
How to Take a Long Screenshot
Taking a long screenshot is almost the same as taking a regular screenshot.
- Go to the webpage, conversation, or document you want to screenshot
- Press the Side button and Volume Up button at the same time to take a regular screenshot
- Tap the screenshot preview that appears in the bottom left corner
- Tap "Full Page" at the top of the screen
- Use the scroll bar on the right to adjust what part of the page you want to capture
- Tap "Done" in the top left corner
- Tap "Save PDF to Files"
What You Can Take Long Screenshots Of
- Webpages in Safari
- Text conversations
- Emails
- Notes
- Documents
What You Can't Take Long Screenshots Of
Unfortunately, you can't take long screenshots of apps that have DRM protection, like Netflix and YouTube. You also can't take long screenshots of the home screen or lock screen.
Pro Tip
Long screenshots are saved as PDF files, not images. You can find them in the Files app, or you can share them directly from the screenshot editor.
