How to Turn Off Vibration on iPhone 16 (Complete Guide)
I hate when my phone vibrates in my pocket. It's loud, it's annoying, and it always seems to happen at the worst possible time. If you feel the same way, turning off vibration on iPhone 16 is easy. In this guide, I'll show you how to turn off all vibrations, or just the ones you don't want.
Turn Off All Vibration (Fastest Method)
This will turn off every single vibration on your iPhone, including ringtones, notifications, and keyboard haptics.
- Open Settings > Sounds & Haptics
- Toggle off "Vibrate on Ring"
- Toggle off "Vibrate on Silent"
That's it! Your iPhone will no longer vibrate for any reason.
Turn Off Vibration for Specific Apps
If you still want some vibrations but not all, you can turn them off for individual apps.
- Open Settings > Notifications
- Tap on the app you want to change
- Tap "Sounds"
- Toggle off "Vibration"
I have vibration turned off for all apps except my phone and messages. That way I don't miss important calls, but I don't get annoyed by every email notification.
Turn Off Keyboard Haptic Feedback
The keyboard vibration is the most annoying one in my opinion. Here's how to turn it off:
- Open Settings > Sounds & Haptics
- Scroll to the bottom
- Toggle off "System Haptics"
Pro Tip
You can also turn off vibration for specific contacts. If there's someone who always texts you at 2 AM, you can set their text tone to have no vibration.
